hello all! it's been a really long time since i've been on a forum, but i just couldn't say no - i am always happy for opportunities to interact with the pagan community.
i’ve been in and out of the pagan thing for around eleven years. up until around age of 13, i was entirely without religion, because i guess my parents forgot to tell me what they believe(d) in or something. my few vague memories of christian indoctrination involve playing red rover at bible camp and eating vanilla wafers, so i was luckier than most. since my clumsy introduction to the community, i’ve done festival time, coven time, solitary time, and, most recently, lonely-person-in-a-dark-hole time. i'm now a secular pagan/atheist witch, which has been working out well so far.
i also like intersectional feminism, DIY, knitting, drawing, books, so on and so forth. i'm very excited to meet some like-minded folks. (p.s. does this forum have to make you choose a gender when you sign up or can that be optional? as a non-binary individual i tried to put nothing and it wouldn't let me and that made me kind of frowny.)

Welcome to the forum! We'll definitely have to share some knitting patterns soon, because I'm a huge knitter and I'm going to be needing some new projects!  Feel free to promote the forum on any social networks you have (If you'd like!) to help us grow! It makes you select a gender? That's irritating. I didn't know if it was just for Administration sign-up. I definitely have no issue looking into it for you and future members (I'll let you know what I find). Edit: Proboards says it's a requirement for signing up as long as we host under them. However, you can hide your gender under Profile/Edit Profile/Privacy. I will make an announcement, and thank you for bringing that to my attention! |

I crochet *womp womp* lol We have a Crochet board too! (Well they're all in the same board, Knitting, Crochet and other Sewing). I tried crocheting once and I missed my 2+ needles.  |

I swear I must be a simpleton because I can NOT for the life of me get the hang of knitting lol I love sewing though I used to sew for a living before I moved to Canada. |

I swear I must be a simpleton because I can NOT for the life of me get the hang of knitting lol I love sewing though I used to sew for a living before I moved to Canada. My mom crochets, and she can't get the hang of knitting either. That's awesome! My sewing expertise begins and ends at the one quilt I've made but if I had a machine I'd definitely get into it. (Should we move this to the appropriate board? Femmepunk's poor post is being hijacked ) |

I will make an announcement, and thank you for bringing that to my attention! i started out crocheting but i work at a combination esoteric gift shop/knitting lounge/vegan restaurant, so i had to learn how to knit, haha. (consequently, i have like, so many patterns. so many.) i ended up enjoying it a lot more than crocheting, though! i'm a traitor to my crochet-heavy heritage. and i know! i was irritated to! thank you so much for looking into it. i am very grateful, and i'm sure many future members will be as well! Do you post anything online? if you think you're an artist, i say you're an artist! i don't really do commission work currently, though i am looking into getting back into it (mostly because i need money, but who doesn't?). nude ladies are such a pleasure to draw! all nude bodies are, really. your art is lovely, btw! it's always nice to see pretty ladies draped in fabric! i do post stuff online, but my art blog is, to put it lightly, significantly nsfw, so i won't direct link it. but my avatar is something i drew not too long ago, and this is a sample of some of my older work. |
