I'm Jonnie. A Christian who has just discovered that I have kitchen/hearth tendencies and that trees talk to me. I have lots of stories of, for lack of a better word, paranormal experiences that I think have led me down the path of discovery.

It's a bit scary, tbh, to admit this considering the decades of protestant upbringing. I still hold onto and believe the Christian path and in Christ, but I'm trying to come to grips with being a Christian and being witchy. Does that make sense? I have a hard time putting to words what I'm thinking and feeling because I don't want to sound like I'm bashing, condemning, or other-wise bringing in oppression that I was taught. So, I hope I don't ever offend and please know that I never mean to offend.

At any rate, this is a big step for me. I'm not out of the broom closet because of family and friends, though, I do have a couple of people close to me that I have confided in. They aren't always available, so I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum to help me in my walk.

Welcome to the forum! I understand completely and your religious beliefs are very welcome here. As you've already said yourself there's no bashing! So no one is to bash you either! We're open and learning from one another. You may read that some of us have had bad experiences with the Christian religion, but speaking for myself, I go off the person not their beliefs. Anywho!
