Hi, I’m Lisa. I live in West Virginia USA. I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist and therefore am a lover of words and communication, as well as music, art, dance, and yoga. I am an old soul with a young heart. I have a variety of spiritual beliefs, mostly eclectic neopagan, traveling on the path of the green witch. I also have a strong basis with Zen…I like to call myself a Zenwitch. I meditate, read a lot, love my family, and I give good advice. Hello folks! I have been busy and then sick, so just getting back to it. I wanted to say how excited I am about this! I too am a dabbler, and I know a little bit about a lot of things, and a lot about certain things, so I hope I can add to this forum. I have to comment about the knitting...my grandma tried over and over for years to teach me to knit and crochet, and I never had the patience for it. She had a true gift for knitting, but probably not for teaching, which is one of my abilities! So hopefully we can all learn a few new things from each other. Blessings to all...

Hooray Lisa! I hope you're feeling better! I don't know if you saw it, but I did post a quick thing about what Moderator's abilities and limitations are if you wanted to read that over.
I found that it's actually to knit when you have an actual project to finish that won't take a century to complete. If you want some nice YouTube videos on simple knitting and knitting patterns I'll definitely link up a post!
